Blue-Light Phototherapy

My scientific interests include the use and hazards of blue-light phototherapy in neonates. I am actively involved in the development of blue-light phototherapy systems, both for the treatment of neonatal jaundice and for children and adolescents with Crigler-Najjar Syndrome.

Lecturing

Throughout my career I have developed and maintained an interest in teaching. This has involved a wide range of subject matter, covering nuclear medicine, radiation protection, the physics of diagnostic radiology, computed tomography and nuclear medicine, lasers and other non-ionising radiations.

Training has been provided to radiography students, clinicians, other hospital and University staff groups, beauty therapists and a laser manufacturer.

I have a reputation as a clear and understandable speaker.
